Letting Go and Trusting God with What’s Next
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
— Isaiah 43:18-19
Life is a series of seasons, each beautiful and significant in its own way. Yet, letting go of a familiar season can feel incredibly difficult, even painful. Perhaps it’s the comforting routines we’ve grown accustomed to, or the identities we’ve carefully built. However, when we trust God enough to loosen our grip, we open ourselves to His promises and plans for something new and beautiful.
God reminds us clearly through Isaiah that focusing too heavily on the past can blind us to the blessings unfolding right before our eyes. Today, let’s choose to trust that He is doing a new thing—something full of hope, purpose, and grace. Let’s courageously step forward, leaving behind the fear and doubt, trusting in His perfect guidance.
Prayer:
Father, give me courage to release what You are asking me to let go of. Help me to trust fully in Your goodness and to anticipate the new things You are preparing in my life. Keep my heart open and attentive to Your direction. Amen.
